All you need is Love…

Continuing with the School Carnival Theme……

Enter Kindergarten Year…..

Okay…..so I am a super room mother and I have to come up with another class project to be auctioned off at the annual Fall Carnival for my daughter’s school.

One big problem…….I have a classroom that is 80% wild boys and a teacher that….well….lets just say was not my favorite.   There was no way that I was going to do anything messy….I didn’t want to lose my last nerve that was in the form of a twitching eyeball!
After long discussions with my wonderful friend….thousands of ideas tossed around…..it finally hit me…..I would do a photo collage of them!

Okay so we have all seen the pricey “word” photos that are sold in stores….they look something like this…

I thought to myself…..why I don’t make something like that….but with the kids!!!

So…..I talked to my good friend, Melissa that is handy with a camera…..to come to my daughter’s school.    We got the kids out in groups, laid them down on the floor in different positions….and ended up with this:
L o v e

How precious did that turn out??????

I printed them out for about 9 cents a picture, spent about $14 on the frame at Michaels……and I think we got around $80 at auction for it!
Bonus: During Teacher appreciation I took the “O” picture, put it in a matted frame and had all the kids sign it for the teacher.
At the time the kids had NO CLUE on how it was going to turn out….but in the end they all loved it!

So there you go….a project with no mess!
